Corvette LS1 Crate Engine, 6-Speed Manual, Coast to Coast Body, Air Ride, AC

One day we might look back and consider today as the mid-years of street rodding; with an endless assortment of components, a deep pool of talent and unlimited ways to fuse parts, the possibilities are simply limitless. And the best part is that these classic cruisers can be as driver-friendly as current production cars while offering twice the style. With the culmination of custom leatherwork, a professionally polished profile, and GM LS power, this spectacular roadster is about as nice as hot rods come. And with a modern audio system, Vintage Air climate control, and a custom undercarriage, it's a fully sorted cruiser that's ready for years of enjoyment. Want to pop a top and view the street rod scene from the best seat in the house? Just take a closer look at this awesome '39 Ford!

Street rods tend to be wild by definition and Bob's 1939 Ford Cabriolet is no exception. The Crystal Lake resident purchased his completed cruiser a few years back and despite being built about 14 years ago, it looks just as fresh today as it did when it rolled out of the shop that built it in southern California. Starting with a silky-smooth fiberglass body manufactured by Coast to Coast and choosing to bolt-on everything else that resides underneath it. Power comes come a GM-sourced super tuned Corvette LS1 Crate Motor delivering a reliable 347 horsepower to the rear wheels and 353 foot-pounds of torque. Hidden behind Boyd Coddington polished wheels are disc brakes at all four corners for confident braking. The glossy exterior comes courtesy of PPG Tangerine Orange over a dyed orange base with gold Pearl paint, and 13 color custom flames, and even in the twilight after-hours, this hot rod still shines brilliantly.
