This immaculately kept Zimmer Golden Spirit is a pampered late production example of the original series of Zimmer Neo-Classic Motor Cars. Based on a sporty mustang chassis with a 5.0 Liter V8 engine, the custom body resembles the classic jazz motorcars that brought America's auto companies to the very forefront of the industry.

The Zimmer Golden Spirit was the flagship of the Zimmer Motorcars Corporation based in Syracuse, NY with more than 1,500 produced during its production run from 1978 to 1988. The original Golden Spirit was built using a Ford Mustang chassis and drivetrain. These cars have attracted buyers for a number of years, and even though this body style is not being made at this time, they are still sought after by many.

This particular example has been owned by the same owner for several years now and has always been garage kept and obviously cared for very well. The current owner recently sold his home and is downsizing his toy collection. The Zimmer presents in stunning condition with the leather-upholstered Recaro seats, polished wood trim, gleaming chrome and brightwork, chrome Dayton wire wheels with Vogue tires, and even a gold-spoked/wood-rim Nardi steering wheel. This car ranks among the finest examples available.

Here is some history on this car based on what the current owner has told us:
In 2017, the owner installed a new leather interior and it still looks perfectly as nice today as it did four years ago. He had also replaced the engine with a brand new engine some 3000 miles ago. The original odometer reads 45,403 since we took our photos. The car also just had new brakes installed as well as new shocks. Last year he installed new 115 spoke wire wheels from France and at the same time he installed new wide whitewall radial tires. The paint and body are in above-average condition. Essentially, anything the car ever needed, the current owner would take care of it or have it replaced and maintained the car religiously.

This Zimmer Golden Spirit is a fantastic head-turner and an absolute luxurious driver in every way.
