Yes, this 1966 Chevelle Malibu is much, much more than a pretty face. Forget about trailer queens, decoded cowl tags, and factory equipment, this one is all about pounding the pavement. You can tell from the stance that this SS tribute means business, and with a 454 big block under the hood, it can back up the look with performance to match. A TH400 3-speed automatic is just about the only transmission that'll survive behind a big block like this, and it drives a 12-bolt rear full of 3.55 gears on a Posi. This car is equipped with power steering to help you out with the big block power.

The black paint on this car is every bit as nice as it looks in photos, maybe even nicer considering it was only repainted a few years ago. Someone spent an ungodly amount of time getting this sinister hardtop laser straight, and its well beyond anything the factory ever produced. The gaps are excellent; the panels don't show a single wave or ripple, and that black paint is as deep and rich as a black hole. A proper wet sanding and professional buff eliminated the orange peel that's a natural by-product of any two-stage urethane, and the reflections in the surface are as crystal clear as the ones in your mirror. The miles showing are 47,449; looking at this car I would believe them to be correct, although we will list it as exempt.

It's truly obvious that the previous owner took great care of this car. There is plenty of polished chrome to compliment this laser-straight body, including new American Racing wheels and chrome trim running the length of the car.

The interior on this car is also very nice. Comfortable bucket seats and a factory SS console set's the muscle car mood when you get in and sit down. Note the factory air conditioning and beautiful, crisp, new looking dash and gauges. Starting with a new headliner all the way down to the new carpeting and even the sill plates have all been replaced new. New seat covers, door panels, and rear trim panels. NEW! NEW! NEW! There are even seat belts installed in the back so the kids or a couple of your best buddies can go and grab some ice cream on a warm weekend night.
